Green Green Business

What is Green Business?

 

It is simply:

 

A business that works in a manner to help correct, environmental problems.

 

A green business uses the three P’s:

                                Practices

                                Policies

                                Principles

 

To improve the world we live in.

 

An example of a non green business, is any business that:

             Harms the environment

             Takes but doesn’t give back

             Ignores global warming

             Fills the air with harmful pollution

             Pollutes our rivers, lakes, and streams

 

An example of a green business,

 

I recently had some auto work done, in a rural part of West Texas, and since my repairs would only take an hour. I had sometime to chat it up with some locals. One such local had recently started a business where he took the used antifreeze from car repair shops, garages, and service stations and recycled it, to use in drilling rig platforms. This business is green green green.

 

                     Green for being environmentally friendly, and recycling,

                     Green for the color of antifreeze

                     Green for the color of money, which he is filling his pockets with.

 

Now a drilling rig will use hundreds of gallons. which will usually be filled with brand new antifreeze, and changed out every couple of weeks.

 

Thats an example of a triple green business.

 

Other good ideas are anything having to do with

 

           Alternative energy

           Solar

           Wind

           Thermal

 

Green businesses improve the quality of life for their customers, their employees, communities, and the environment.
