Do you have a problem going green?
Deniers all day your on here telling me how you think Global warming is not man made, or you don’t even believe it’s happening! But my question is why do you resist the change to green energy? Wouldn’t you like for your house and car to be powered by free energy from the sun????? meanwhile cleaning out all the polluted air out of the city so we can breath???? Why do you resist a change for the better
With this push for green technology will come cheap solar cells.. you will be off the grid and free energy for every one.
Necessity is the mother of invention. Push the green movement now and the solar panels will get there. and yes once the technology is there and man can recreate it there is no way to charge you for sun power

i resist it because i cant afford to "go green". everybody puts so much stress on us(the consumer) when in reality, its not ours to control. we can only buy what is offered to us inside our budget. iF we are the cause then t.s. because we are only buying what is available to us.
im all for becoming less dependent on fuels and using what the universe has for us to use. but what i dont need is my single t-shirt shipped in a box 6 times the size it needs to be and stuffed with styrofoam or plastic bubbles.

Free Energy for Every One!
Wow you really believe its Free
repeat that after the government takes all the "GREEN" out of your wallet with their carbon taxes!
I do believe that we need to look for better energy sources.
Solar and Wind are great but truly nuclear will probably be the future in our energy needs.
sorry though none of it will be FREE!
AGW is a scam

I have a problem with forcing lifestyle changes on other people.
I have no problem with other people’s chosen lifestyles.
I do think that some of it is silly - the whole red meat argument for example. Before there were cattle, there were buffalo, also ruminants, and that didn’t prevent the Little Ice Age from happening. But if you want to eschew red meat while I chew it a few nights a week, you be my guest. Just don’t tell me I can’t, or will have to pay a special carbon tax to do so - it’s a great source of protein and iron and I work out pretty intensely.

Because green energy DOESN’T WORK!
Forcing a change before the technology is ready just wastes money and actually slows the change down.
So far the "available" green energy sucks.
If someone actually invents a cheap solar cell that works and is economically viable, people will use it. Until then, forcing it just makes people do something that doesn’t work… and it will have the opposite of the intended effect… people will continue to resist it even if something is created that does work.
When it’s more efficient than what we have already, you won’t be able to stop people from using it, until then stop trying to force your political agenda on other people.

What you are failing to understand is that most people would be willing to change over to more "green" energy if it was available and truly worked. As of today, it does not. CFL bulbs are highly toxic and have to be destroyed in very special ways, which cost a fortune. If one breaks in your house, since they contain mercury, the proper cleanup by the EPA costs around $2,000.00. Hybrid cars sound great, but if you look at the actual gas mileage, a good four cylinder engine gets close to the equivalent with half the price. Not to mention after 100,000 miles, the batteries are worthless, are thrown in a landfill, and the car is not resellable since to replace the batteries cost so much.
As well, the "green" people, who are suppose to be so for the green technology, have now begun to block "green" expansion technology. Things such as solar pannel fields destroy environments since they take up so much space, so they are not good. Nuclear power is bad since at the end of its time, you have to build processing plants to do away with the toxic chemicals. No matter which way you go, there is problems associated with it.

Just because skeptics don’t believe in the AGW theory, it doesn’t make us all earth bashers and haters.
I am happy to follow a greener lifestyle - to a point. but don’t force it upon me and don’t force me to make changes that impact on the quality of the way in which I live.
