Green blinking light on my power supply…what does it mean since my pc is down?

I previously asked about what could be wrong with my computer and gave symptoms…3 out of 5 said power supply. Before I go buy a new one…when I plug it in the green light blinks…does that mean it’s not the power supply but something else like mother board or??

    It could be the motherboard as well. There are so many things that can go wrong. Your best bet, in my opinion, would be to go to an electronic store with a return policy that allows you to return opened items. Test out the new power supply, if it fixes your problem, you can either keep it or return it and get a cheaper one online. The link provided below has great deals and great prices and just about everything.
