    Hydro power. It is not only the cheapest it is the cleanest.

    It may be correct to think most green power options are to create electricity (geothermal, wind, solar, tidal, and hydro) Other green options are to conserve which is accomplished a few ways (efficient refrigeration, insulation and appliances, capturing waste heat, electrical co-generation incorporated in heating and air systems, and turning things off when not in use) A list of green options in use today should include recycling which is developed to the greatest degree in some Scandinavian countries. Walking and riding a bike or bus is a green option that more people are choosing to use and communities are working to make that a safer option.
