How do you explain the amount of power Gore uses when he wants the rest of us to live in igloos?
In 2006 Al Gore’s home in Tenn. used 191,000 kilowatt hours ( monthly bill averaged ,200) when the average home in that area only used 15,600 kilowatt hours. For someone that is so certain that we are all screwed if we don’t drastically cut our use of energy he sure seems to not care when it comes to his own life. Mabey he doesn’t actually believe what he preaches. He has made millions from his movie telling you to change your life so drasticlly that you would end up living like a cave man. All the while he’s getting driven around in a Limo and using more energy at his home than 12 average homes. How about practicing what you preach. Even if he knows everything he says is crap ( wich he does ) you would think he would still attempt to limit his share of green house emmitions to playcate his followers if nothing else. I think I know what Al Gore is full of. Global bull@#$#.

Gore is wealthy. The wealthy think differently than the rest of us. Most of them don’t think the rules apply to them. Yes, he wants us to live in igloos. But does that mean he or his ilk will adjust their own lifestyles accordingly? Hell no it doesn’t. Rosie O’donnell is fervently anti gun. But rumor had it the bodyguard she had was always armed. Same thing. Nobody can consume energy except Al Gore. Nobody can own a gun except the bodyguard of a celebrity. What does it all mean? Oppression for the average people that make up the population of Earth. That’s what all this is for. Control of anything that allows us to be free, whether it’s guns or the infrastructure of America. Arm yourselves with knowledge.

It doesn’t matter, to me, or to you.
Al Gore has nothing at all to do with the science behind global warming. He is in no way responsible for any of the solid data about global warming. He is not singlehandedly causing global warming. He’s just an actor.
And his message is backed by 99+% of all scientists. They may disagree on some of the details, but not on the basic message. Global warming is real, it’s not natural, it’s caused by us. And it is a serious threat to our country.

Not from some weirdos, but from the most respected scientific organizations in the world. Practically every scientific organization publicly supports the reality of global warming.
Talking about Al Gore’s personal life in the face of the threat is silly. The people quoted below are hardly fans of Al Gore, but they don’t make that mistake. They don’t get their information from "An Inconvenient Truth", they get it from the best scientists in the world. None of these people are fools, or environmental crazies. You may not respect them all, but surely you respect some.

These "questions" have nothing at all to do with science. They are simply political statements which properly belong in the politics section.

Just because you don’t like the messenger doesn’t make the message any less true. Pick on him all you want but I do think that the truth about what is happening on earth is important to all of us and to all of those coming after us.
