I have an older 52 inch RCA rear projection television. When I plug it in the power button just flashes green?
repeatedly even for a while after I unplug it. Does anyone know what is wrong with this and if it is even worth fixing?

wait a bit and try turning it on
leave it plugged in so it can reset
then if it still does that i would start looking for a new tv… it wil cost more to fix than to replace

in the power supply there is capcitore the valuse of it is 2200uf to 16 volt , check it if it is buff replace it, also by the fly back transformer ( fly back is black trasnformer with thik blace/ red wire comming from it) there is a mican capacitor which eaither bad, or have loss conections check it out

i am having the same issue as of last night. I just replaced the CP150,120,114 capacitor and also checked the fuse which is good and still have the same issue. I am asking myself the same question if its worth fixing.
