Investing in green stocks?

I just got a chunk of money back from filing my taxes. I want to start investing for my future (retirement) but my moral and values go against investing in anything that is not environmentally friendly. Does anyone know anything about investing in eco friendly stocks? websites? advice?

I know of a couple of green stocks. Here is one. Vestas Wind Systems. It is the largest producer of wind turbines in the world. The ticker is VWSYF on the pink sheets. It is a Danish company. I warn you though. Green stocks are currently out of favor since the price of oil has dropped like a rock. Here is another. Trina Solar, a Chinese solar cell company. Ticker is TSL. It too is feeling the effect of the oil prices. Lost 90% of it value. Current PE is about 3.5 but that is based on past earnings not future earnings.

Selective agriculture, gold and oil stocks would be the areas where I would look for a stock purchase. Most investors are not focused on the underlying business and an investor who personally dislikes the effects of tobacco may buy tobacco stocks.
