My horses “stocks up” after eating fresh grass for 45 minutes. IS there an antidote?
"Stock up" means they have a lot ot trouble walking. It must hurt a lot and it takes them several days to get over. The grass is very lush and green. It can affect two or more legs. Sometimes it affects all their legs. When this happens, I lock them up and feed them bermuda grass only.

Hi Stephen i think your horse may be suffering from a disease called laminitis dont know if you have heard of that. it effects theyre legs when they have eaten to much luscious grass or are being fed to much in general. what happens is the bone in the hoof drops down its a weird disease but it happens nearly all the time. There are two options if he continues in this manner i would suggest getting a vet to check it over and also like you said i would keep it in off grass and feed it a lighter diet ie: Hay and minimise its feed. i would bring it out and walk it around to keep it exercised. We have two shetlands and they are really bad with this when they eat too much.
Hope i have helped
Best of Luck

hhmmm.. almost like that symptoms appear clearly and your question is that your horse is getting stock uo because it may becoming old, sick or lastly my best recommmend to dont let him eat that grass Again beacause grass that he eat is poison i mean sprayed with an "INSECTICIDE or PESRICIDE!" taht cause your horse to act defferent
