Psp green power light, but wont turn on?

On my psp, for some reason, wont turn on. When i slide the power button to turn on, it turns green (normal), but nothing is happening. Just the green power light is on and nothing else. I charged it fully and it still doesn’t run. I also tried taking out the battery and putting in back in, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem.
