If we do not have to spend so much on energy we have more to spend on other things, including tourism. It tourism is efficient it can stay in business while inefficient users may fail.
Inefficiency or mere high usage of energy can force us to stop travelling so much.
The greenhouse effect can weigh negatively on tourist areas closer to the equator, and positively for northern locations if we can get there. This will be independent of the energy efficiency of the individual tourist business.

We can exist with tourism and still be energy efficient. The two are not mutually exclusive

People are traveling to local attractions instead of traveling further (for the most part).
