Nuclear by far. People just have to get more educated on it and get over some common misconceptions and fears.

there is no best, no sustainable and reduce greenhouse. You have to many fixed values in your equation.
Nuclear energy is the closest to fitting your criteria.

1- probably energy efficiently gained from winds and tides
2- they are sustainable due sun's heating of earth & natural forces and gravities that cause tides

We do waste a tremendous amount of energy, so better energy efficiency would probably save 20-30% of the energy we waste by leaving things on standby or lighting office blocks at night.
Despite being a committed green, at this moment in time I think nuclear power is the option if we want to carry on living the lifestyle we currently have.
In saying that though, I have heard lots of postive things about nuclear fusion, which have all the benefits of normal nuclear power but without the waste and risks. This used to be a pipe dream, but I understand that a breakthrough is possible in the near future. Though in reality we probably have a 20 year wait before we see these reactors being built for real.

We will always have a need for fossil fuels in our lifetimes! We can only provide additional energy resources because unless we have a zero based population growth we will continually have a need for more energy!
What you can do to prevent "green house gasses" if you are serious, that is - is to become a vegetarian! Animal farts and gas from animal belching and manure produces more green house gasses than many forms of energy as we know it! So - put your stomach where your mouth is if you are really concerned over green house gasses!

So, meat production, the raising of animals for food (sheep, lamb, chickens, ducks, goats, carabao, nutrias and lots of other food animals) contribute to green house gases! Stop eating meat if you are serious about green house gases!
My personal preference for clean energy is nuclear energy! Just like what they have in France! In the US we have enough coal to make a fluid fuel that would replace any oil we get from the Middle East, but we are not allowed to use it! This fuel can be made cleanly - no worse than what we get from ordinary oil wells! Best thing is in America we have enough of this fuel to last over a 100 years! Long enough to get cleaner sources of fuel to be the majority source for our industry and transportation!
OK

The green house gas is a lie . If U do not believe just try to measure it.That old bad CO2 is normally reported at 380 ppm. Your O2 is 20.9% of our atmosphere. Now look at the CO2 level to understand how little it is. CO2 would be .000380% of our atmosphere. That is nothing.

Nuclear power has basically no emissions at all. Funny how the "green" environmentalists are the ones blocking nuclear plants though.
